Our expert team of hardworking, talented individuals took off to Commons Park after work on Friday, September 25th, 2015 for our first ever Company field day.
We all wanted to get out of the office while the weather was still nice and go outside to wrap up summer with a bang! With our team expanding recently, field day was a great opportunity to get to know the new faces in the office and to team up with co-workers that people normally may not get the chance to work with on a daily basis. NEWMEDIA has a very friendly competitive spirit, so obviously volleyball was a huge hit. Some of our team members got really into the games and others had fun cheering on their friends from the sidelines. Bocce Ball, Cornhole, Badminton, an Egg Relay Race and a Water Balloon Toss were also enjoyed as we took the afternoon to relax and have some active team day fun. So how did it all turn out in the end? “I had fun, wish we had more time” “I had a blast. Next time I need to bring sun glasses.” “Having fun playing games with the team!” “Falling over playing volleyball.” “It was fun way to get to know everybody out of the office.” “I enjoyed the field day. I arrived late so I missed most of the activities but I did enjoy playing volleyball. Yes, I would do it again.” These were some of the responses our event coordinator got from the team so over all I’d say it was a pretty successful event. Everyone was a winner at field day.
